Lawrence Upton
Ars moriendi
career and reputation
necessarily reduce the fort
announcements have been made
dramatic pleas
statements
are misquoted becoming
confessed misdemeanours
a lyricism of self
a missive indifference
to the body being
used derisively
I'll tell you what, some say
but rarely speak much more
all anticipation and promise
nothing that delivers
but forms begin to appear
humans can say no more
or so their masters claim
some find themselves
praying
to configurations
of visual perception
some of which are real
devices above all express
wavering in erratic ways
what businesses require
balanced emphases within
both symbology and soul
design
and whole structures
each unattributed
